Our services are designed for adults (18 of age and above).
Trauma-focused EMDR
Traumatic memories are those images, stories, sounds and events that are still vivid and detailed when being thought of. They feel like present, even if they happened in the past. These memories change how we perceive safety, risks, love and trust, and relationships. They get stuck in our nervous system and “keep us in the past” in a way. EMDR is a clinically proven strategy to relief the impact of trauma. It is effective in desensitizing the intensity of traumatic memories, and it facilitates the brain to reprocess them, so they do not “get stuck” in our brain anymore, allowing us to live freely, safely and responsively.
We will assess and discuss with you in the first session of counselling to decide together if EMDR is suitable for you.

EMDR can be conducted face-to-face or via TeleHealth. We will discuss and prepare with you in the first session regarding the set-up for remote EMDR sessions.
